Enrolment

  • Please note, this CV & LinkedIn Clinic is only for Aalto & Hanken business students.
  • You need to make the registration with aalto or hanken e-mail address. Other registrations will be deleted.
  • NOTE: One enrolment per student only. Do not book time to more than one company.

Enrolment page with details Hanken students can find it in Event Calendar in ARENA event and Aalto students will find it from Aalto CareerWeb (requires aalto identification) event ad. Enrolment is possible starting from Wed 31st October at noon.

Online enrolment is possible until Tuesday 13th November 10 am. Reservation list (paper copy) will be available on the Clinic day by the door (Danske Bank hall C-332), if there are available slots. To make a binding enrolment to a free slot, mark your name and aalto.fi or hanken.fi email clearly to the reservation list.

Guidelines for students coming to the Clinic

  • When you have booked an appointment to Clinic, please note that your enrolment is binding.
  • If you wish to cancel your registration, remove your registration as soon as possible and at the latest 24 hours before the event. After that, in case you get sick, send us an email before the Clinic morning.
  • Each company representative will receive the enrolment list from Career Services (names of students). So please check that you have marked the right time and right company carefully to your calendar! If you do not show up, another student misses the opportunity.
  • Arrive to Clinic at the right time and please don’t be late; that gives immediately a bad picture to company rep.
  • There will be roll ups in the hall so you will see the right company right from the door.
  • Your appointment with company representative is 30 minutes, use this opportunity well. Think beforehand what are the questions you want to check with the company rep. If applying to that certain company, you can also check what kind of persons they are looking for. In order to get the best benefit from your appointment, please choose beforehand if you wish to use your time as a CV & Cover Letter check OR LinkedIn profile check.

Prepare for the Clinic

  • If you use your appointment as CV & CL check, please bring your printed CV and cover letter with you. One CV and one cover letter per session.
  • If you use your appointment as LinkedIn profile check remember to take your laptop/tablet with you, and also to check your LinkedIn password!
  • Tailor your cover letter to a real job or internship ad (any job or internship, doesn’t have to be to that company, but of course it could be); it is easier to give comments on your cover letter and the session is more useful to you. /  You should have created your LinkedIn profile already, since the time is limited there is no time to start from the beginning.
  • Please note. The main purpose of the Clinic is that you receive useful comments on your application papers or profile from company representatives. The company does not necessarily have open positions on that time.

The popular Badge Hunt will be organized at ARENA Career Fair again! This activity has been requested by the bachelor-students as well as exhibitors, so this year we are hunting the badges again! Find answers to the Badge Hunt questions at the Fair and you have earned yourself the ARENA 2018 badge!

The Badge Hunt questions will be very easy and low-maintenance and the questions will serve also as a conversation starter and will give you an easy way to start talking to the exhibitors. There will be questions about the job opportunities, partner organizations and alumni.

You can find the Badge Hunt question papers at the cloakroom and in the info stands. Take the form with you when you enter the Fair and start Hunting! Once you have all the answers, you can return the paper to the info stand or one of the info people at the Fair and collect your Badge.

Happy Hunting!
